The South County Rounders at Nick-a-Nee's

The South County Rounders are a four-piece acoustic band performing a mix of bluegrass, swing, authentic old-time fiddle and banjo instrumentals, traditional and contemporary folk music, and originals. Centered in southern Rhode Island, they have been well known to fans of acoustic music in Rhode Island and across southern New England since the 1980s. The current four-piece ensemble features the original duo, Matt Bolles (standup bass, guitar, vocals) and Phil Smith (flatpick and fingerstyle guitar, banjo, dobro, vocals) with Judy Bolles and Chris Heinzmann adding twin fiddles and rounding out the vocal trios and quartets.
