The Sourdough Starter Club at Spark Scent Collective

Join us for a hands-on beginner workshop where you’ll learn the essentials of crafting beautiful, bakery-worthy bread from scratch with Elmhurst's own - Nikki Spyropoulos!

In this class, you’ll:

• Receive starter basics such as tools, ingredients, and a take-home guide
• Focus on troubleshooting and how to spot and fix issues
• Learn tips for simple hands-on dough work, techniques, and presentation
• Discuss the science behind sourdough
• Participate in a light tasting experience

You’ll leave with your own dough ready to bake at home, plus the knowledge and confidence to keep baking long after class.

No experience needed, just bring your curiosity (and maybe your love of carbs).

This experience is $75 per guest. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase at 10% off throughout the experience, so you can sip and graze as you work.
