One of the most beloved musicals of all time! In Austria, 1938, an exuberant young governess brings music and joy back to a broken family, only to face danger and intrigue as the Nazis gain power. In this adaptation for pre-high school students, the content has been edited to better suit younger attention spans, but all the elements that make this show a classic are still in place.Doors open 30 minutes before each show.
There is no food or drink allowed in the theater of this historic venue, please plan accordingly.
We recommend arriving early to allow time for parking. The venue offers two small parking lots (one on 18th Ave behind the building and one on 17th Ave across Yesler). Additional street parking is available.
