May 10th and 11th, we are beyond pleased to be bringing you THREE (count 'em!) showings of Robert Wise's legendary musical, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, as part of our annual MUSICAL MAY series, happening all month long at the historic #babcocktheatre! Julie Andrews plays the unforgettable Maria, a tomboyish postulant at an Austrian abbey where she becomes the governess in the home of widowed naval captain George Von Trapp and his seven children. During the height of the second World War, Maria's position at the abbey allows her to replace these dark times with love and music.
