The Sound of Gratitude - Outdoor Sound Bath - Malibu

Meet us in the Malibu Mountains for a memorable sound bath experience in Nature. We extend a warm invitation to our community to bring along friends and family, making it a perfect finale to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The Sonic Being team is excited to serenade you with authentic healing sounds and vibrations while we shift into the energy of the New Moon. We will plant energetic seeds of inner peace and gratitude. May our collective energy resonate and expand, touching communities far and wide across the planet.

The session will be guided by Michelle Berc with a team of sound healers. Our special musical guest will be Joel Long aka Dvine1 who will be sharing the sitar interweaved into the Sonic Being Journey.

The program includes light breathwork with vocal toning to prepare the mind, body, and spirit for a powerful live and acoustic performance of sacred and rare instruments. A blissful sonic universe will be created with Crystal & Tibetan Singing Bowls, Sacred Drums & Percussion, Gongs, and more. Sounds and vibrations are tuned to 432hz – a natural frequency found in nature and sacred geometry which are extra nurturing for the human vessel.

The session will conclude with a complimentarty cup of tea served by Marguerite of Resonating Earth. The signature herbal blend will energetically tap into the New Moon energy.

The sound meditation will offer you a window of time for self-care. The energy of this special land will allow you to ground in with your true spirit and deeply connect with the peace within your heart.

PREPARE FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE:

– Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and eye cover (you will be laying on the ground covered by a cloth tarp to help keep your items clean, consider bringing anything else you may need for comfort). Please avoid bringing sleeping bags that make noise when you move around.

– Dress in layers so you are able to adjust your body temperature as it may get chilly as the sun sets. Our plan is to end before dusk.

- Complimentary hand and feet warmers will be available for those who need it (we doubt it will be that cold but just in case we got you covered).

- Bring a bottle of water

- Make sure you are able to carry the above items on a 10 minute slightly ascending walk

– Eat a full meal 1 to 2 hours before or a light snack if closer to the session start time

– Some people like to bring Crystals and a bottle of drinking water to be cleared and amplified by the powerful tones produced by the crystal bowls

**** If you are sick or experiencing a chronic cough then we suggest that you wait until you are feeling better to attend a sound bath

— We regret that we cannot allow babies, pets, and young children that are unable to sit still through the whole session, thank you for your understanding

- There will be a clean porta-potty steps away but do try to take care of business at home before heading out

- Please note that these events are very organic. We do our best to start and end on time. Gathering large groups at an outdoor venue has its quirks. Please land at the property during the arrival window and also allow a padding of time on the back end as we may finish slightly after our proposed ending time. No matter what, we promise a quality experience.

ARRIVAL TIME, ADDRESS & PARKING:

– Address will be emailed only to those who have RSVP'd and will be sent out on Sunday morning around 10am (for those who like to plan, the property is close to Solstice Canyon in the Malibu Area) - make sure to check the email address registered with eventbrite.

– Arrival window is 2:30 - 2:45pm (we kindly ask that you don’t arrive any earlier or later). Once parked, you will still have to check in and walk to the meditation spot. The experience will start at 3pm or within a few minutes

– If coming in a group, please carpool, parking is limited!

– Depending on where you are traveling from, please allow 30 mins and up to 1 hour to drive to the location (which is very worth it)!!!

- You may consider making a day adventure up in the Malibu area as there are many beautiful hikes, beaches, and delicious restaurants for lunch or dinner.

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND MORE

It is important during these challenging times to stay committed to our meditation and wellness regimens.

-- We are not requiring attendees to wear masks nor to be vaccinated.

-- We understand that everyone has a unique comfort level, if you are called to wear a mask during the event, please do so as there is no judgement amongst our community.

-- When purchasing a ticket, you declare that you do not have any symptoms of COVID currently or in the past seven days nor have been exposed to someone who has tested positive within the last 10 days.

-- Due to the nature of this unique event, there are no ticket refunds within 36 hours of our session, Friday night 11/30 at midnight is the deadline for reimbursement

ABOUT US:

--- Michelle Berc is the founder of Sonic Being and has been sharing Sound Healing across Southern California for close to fifteen years. She is certified in Sound Healing, Vibrational Sound Therapy, Breathwork, and is a HeartMath Practitioner. Her sessions range from privates to group sound baths and breathwork classes along with participating in corporate wellness programs, festivals, and celebrity gatherings. She also performs large sound meditation experiences with a full team and special guest musicians. Michelle Launched the Sonic Being Sound Healing Training Program in late 2018 and has successfully passed along her knowledge of sound and vibrational healing over the last few years.

Michelle's former background includes being the founder and curator of the Create:Fixate Foundation, a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to supporting emerging artists and musicians for close to 15 years through festive art and music events. Marguerite is an Earth & Energy Practitioner. She is a certified Herbalist, Reiki Master, & Dowser.
