Our bodies and minds have been under pressure in these uncertain times. Our voices are becoming obscured and lost to the presence of an ever-increasing virtual world.What would happen if we let the "floodgates open"?
What would happen if we allowed ourselves to surrender to the sound within?
In The Sound Circle we come together and journey into the world of sound and voice through guided meditations, vocal practices, and group singing and toning.
Join us for an evening of restorative resonance and whether you're a singer or novice, it doesn't matter, you don't need to be a pro to enjoy the vitality of your voice.
No experience is necessary; just bring your curiosity and openness!
What will we be doing?
A session might look like:
Introductions: We start by getting to know one another, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Listening Meditation: We embark on a soothing guided meditation, encouraging you to tune in to the sounds within and around you.
Vocal Exploration: Through fun vocal exercises, we take a journey to discover the unique power and beauty of our voices.
Circle Singing: Together, we form a musical circle, where the magic happens as we sing and harmonize collectively, creating a sense of togetherness and shared expression.
Group Reflections: We wrap up by sharing our experiences and insights, allowing you to connect with others who have shared this unique journey.
Close: We bring the event to a gentle close, ensuring you leave with a sense of fulfillment and peace.

About Joana Ayala:
For the past five years, Joana has been an active part of the Bay Area wellness and transformational experience space. She's had the privilege of holding workshops, day retreats, and online gatherings to guide individuals on their journey.
As a certified sound practitioner, Joana completed her studies at The California Institute of Integral Studies in the Sound, Voice, and Music in The Healing Arts program. Her passion lies in creating spaces where sound becomes medicine and the voice becomes a source of healing.
Being a vocal artist, she weaves melodic and fluid vocalizations in ceremonial and therapeutic settings. Through her performances, Joana aims to cultivate an atmosphere of deep relaxation and transcendence, allowing participants to immerse themselves fully in the experience.
