Tänk dig att Charles Manson och Anton LaVey slagit sig i slang
med en grupp falska Hare Krishna-munkar och packat sina
instrument i en risig folkabuss påväg mot Kathmandu 1972. Då
fattar du vad Nepal Death handlar om.
Detta musikaliska hippiekollektiv spelar tung groovy rock med
psykedeliska inslag. Med deras hyllade singlar ”Sister Nirvana” och
”She Demon” i bagaget utlovar de vintagegitarrer, dansanta
basgångar, rituellt rytmiska trummor, glödande gong-gong och
mystiska analogsynt-melodier som hyllar hippieeran av fri kärlek
och kosmiska resor till Kathmandu. Kanske till och med en
meditation tillägnad dödsgudinnan Kali.
