Joanna Bronson, Jake Lauzon & Alanna Jenish are a trio of composers from the music city of Peterborough Ontario.

Peterborough has a musical history woven into the fabric of Canadian folk singer-songwriting. The power of the city’s lore still ring’s true. In a chance meeting between three artists, each deep in the process of refining their own craft, something rare took shape. A natural collaboration rooted in mutual artistry, and a shared desire to bring the songs to their fullest potential. What emerged was “The Solo Artist Trio”. Trio: “Three distinct composers whose individual styles come together to create something truly special”.

Joanna Bronson, is a powerful songwriter that has a soulful voice. Her delivery is filled with emotion makes her works beautifully authentic. Music is in her blood; her father is a veteran songwriter, vocalist and instrumentalist. She recently released her first solo record entitled “Highway 28”.

Jake Lauzon, is armed with a decade long career as an internationally touring support-role musician. He has recorded an album of original songwriting. The album also showcases his ability as a talented multi-instrumentalist. The album is called “Live Another Day” to be released summer 2026.

Alanna Jenish, (one of Canada’s most sought after fiddle players and accompanists) has been captivating audiences internationally for a decade. Her touch on any instrument she picks up is as beautiful as it is flawless. Alanna’s most recent instrumental album “Daleview” is filled with amazing original material. The album has won her a Canadian Folk Music Award For “Instrumental Composer Of the Year” in 2025.

This show allows all 3 individuals to showcase their leading roles, as-well as their ability to support the other artist’s vision.

The trio captures music steeped in tradition while offering sounds of new beginnings.
