Amarachi Odimba explores how “home” is carried, remembered, and rebuilt across movement. Odimba reconstructs the parlor of her home using the “Ghana Must Go” bag combined with figurative painting, sewing, and bedazzling to create a home that is suspended between departure, waiting, and the longing to remain. Odimba will be leading “The Social Life of Things.”
On Saturday, April 25, Amarachi Odimba will be leading “The Social Life of Things.” Guests are invited to bring a personal object they would like to craft with. Bags or fabrics, along with other materials, will also be available.
