Angela Mitchell Hill’s story is one of vision, resilience, and transformation.

An entrepreneur based in the southeast, brand builder, and wellness innovator, Angela turned

“$27 and a dream” into a portfolio of thriving businesses spanning beauty, wellness, airport

concessions, food and beverage, news and gifts, and community-centered experiences. With

more than two decades in the beauty and wellness industry, she has built and partnered in 14

concession ventures—including a 22-year airport spa presence at Nashville International

Airport,—while helping launch and mentor thousands of professionals who now lead businesses

of their own.

Angela is the founder of NaSah’s Nurture Nature, a wellness and retail concept known for

vegan spa services and holistic beauty products, and the visionary behind NailEd It

Empowerment, a platform dedicated to helping beauty professionals move from hustle to

ownership through strategy, structure, and mindset.

Through her work, Angela has become a respected voice on resilience, reinvention, and

building generational impact in the beauty industry. Her message is simple but powerful:

My name is Wakius Hereford and I am a proud Nashvillian. I am married to my beautiful wife Kim for the past 24 years and we have three beautiful children. I am the owner of Legacy MasterBarber Academy and First Class Barbershopboth located in Nashville TN. My proudest accomplishment is being a Deacon at my church since 2004. During my years of being a Barber instructor I have graduated over 700 students and taughtcountless others. I also played an intricate part in implementing the first Barber program in metro schools at Whites Creek High School allowing young men and women that graduate high school an alternative to a four-year college. Everyonedeserves achance to change and become the best version of themselves. In 2024 I received the prestigious Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce Rising Star award it was an immensely proudmoment for me and my family that Moment catapulted my career to another level since then I have been doing speeches and seminars and talking to different people about how to build a business and keep it going. In 2025 I received another prestigious award Who’s Who in America for the barbering industry and also “Boots to the Ground” legend for my help that I do with the community. I started Legacy Master Barber Academy in 2021 with eight students now we have over 100 students and still growing students of all races, colors, and creeds we are so blessed to be in that position. Moving forward I would like to open up more locations and my main goal is to get more involved with having more Barber programs in the high schools because I really feel like giving people the opportunity to grow in any way they need to grow is the best solution to helping the next generation to build their own legacy.
