About this Event
Sobriety can be messy, lonely, hilarious, heartbreaking and everything in between. But you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Join us for a sofa-style evening with - author, speaker, and the voice behind the much-loved @brutalrecovery - as she shares her story from the depths of addiction to the delicate, determined work of building a life in sobriety. Her new book, No Lost Causes Club, is part confessional memoir, part compassionate guide, and all heart.
This isn’t a lecture. It’s a conversation - the kind that feels like a late-night chat with a friend who really gets it. Expect honesty without judgment, humour threaded through the heaviness, and practical wisdom for anyone navigating life after alcohol (or simply curious about what that looks like).
We’ll talk about:
- The messy, human reality of early sobriety
- Building a full, rich life without alcohol as your crutch
- Navigating friendships, work, and love in recovery
- Why community and connection matter more than willpower
Whether you’re sober, sober-curious, or supporting someone you love, you’ll leave feeling less alone...and maybe even a little lighter.
Come for the conversation, stay for the community.
