Formed in New Jersey in 1980, The Smithereens have crafted dynamic rock'n'roll for over four decades. Comprising Jim Babjak on guitar, Dennis Diken on drums, Mike Mesaros on bass, and the late Pat DiNizio as lead singer, the band emerged from Carteret and Scotch Plains. They honed their sound in NYC and NJ clubs before scaling stages worldwide—from LA's Greek Theatre to NYC's Radio City Music Hall. Their influential style, rooted in their Garden State origins, spans 17 albums and hits like "Blood and Roses" and "A Girl Like You," influencing musicians like Kurt Cobain. Despite DiNizio's passing in 2017, the band persists with rotating guest vocalists, continues to tour, and recently released "The Lost Album."The Smithereens will be joined by Gin Blossoms lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Robin Wilson. Robin has been a prominent figure in the music industry since the band's rise to fame in the early 1990s with hits like "Hey Jealousy" and "Found Out About You."
