Join us and David A. Robertson in conversation with Shannon Ozirny, October 1st from 6-8pm for the book release of The Sleeping Giant.
Venue & Accessibility
The event will be hosted at the Massy Arts Gallery, at 23 East Pender Street in Chinatown, Vancouver. We are located in the former MING WO building.
Registration is free or by donation and required for entry.
The gallery is wheelchair accessible and a gender-neutral washroom is on-site.

David A. Robertson is the author of numerous books for young readers, including Governor General’s Literary Award winners When We Were Alone, On the Trapline and the acclaimed Misewa Saga series for young readers. A sought-after speaker and educator, Dave is a member of the Norway House Cree Nation and lives in Winnipeg.
About the Moderator: Shannon Ozirny is the Head of Youth Services at the West Vancouver Memorial Library. She has taught children’s literature as an adjunct at the UBC iSchool and reviewed kids and young adult books for The Globe and Mail and Quill & Quire.
