When the other ducks want to play baseball, Elmer would prefer to put on a puppet show or bake a cake!Perfect for children and families, The Sissy Duckling is a celebration of love, resilience, and the power of individuality to bring about change. This musical adaptation of the beloved children's novel by Harvey Fierstein includes shadow puppets, live foley, and live music. It’s a theatrical adventure not to be missed!
Elmer loves to do these things, but it can get a bit lonely when you're often playing alone. It can be even lonelier if someone calls you a sissy...but Elmer is tough and caring and smart, and he's about to teach his family, and his entire flock, that being different is A-Okay!
Advisories and accessibility:
Runtime: 60 minutesAll ages welcome, but ideal for ages 4 and up.
Venue is wheelchair accessible. Attendees do not need to use stairs to attend performances or events.
There are stairs to gendered washrooms in the venue, and accessible washrooms in the main building. There is an elevator to get to the accessible washrooms. The elevator is across the hall from the Erratics' main doors.
