The course will be taught mainly by Katarzyna Lidia with support from Agata Zakrzewska (with a special workshop!), and there will be also special contribution of our wonderful Representative and Ambassador Lisi Brümmer!

2:00-4:00 W1 (2h) Technique part 1
Review of the basic variations of FCBD® Style slow and fast steps: we will focus on important details and common mistakes.
4:30-6:30 W2 (2h) – Workshop with Agata Zakrzewska
◇ 4.01 Saturday (4,5h + 1,5h lecture)
10:00-12:30 W3 (2,5h) Technique part 2
Review of advanced fan variations of FCBD® Style slow and fast steps. We will focus on important details and common mistakes.
1:00-2:30 W4 (1,5h) pm The Principle of the fan dialect and teachers tips! - lecture
We will systematize the principles of the dialect related to the specificity of both: the prop itself and the aesthetic vision of the project. We will also discuss possible ways of teaching the dialect.
We will answer questions: how to prepare students, which exercises to use (as a good introduction to the dance and before practicing particular steps) as well as how to analyze the steps, in what order to introduce them and how to combine them.
3:30-5:30 W5 (2h) pm Workshop with Lisi Brümmer - topic soon!
8:00 pm Integration dinner
◇ 5.01 Sunday (4h)
11:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m. W6 (2 h) Technique part 3
Review of advanced fan variations of FCBD® Style slow and fast steps including other dialects (Devi Mamak and Super Beth steps). We will focus on important details and common mistakes.
2:00-4:00 p.m. W7 (1.5/2h) Teachers practice
In this class we will practice presenting steps and paying attention to common problems and doubts. We will divide into groups and present the steps to each other, is great time for questions and feedback!
4:00 Summary of the course

During the exam each participant will first dance a few given steps and then describe one step (the participant will choose one step from the list of 3 moves given by Katarzyna). Presentation includes: how to teach it, what exercise to use, how to combine it with other steps.
Depending on your registration, it will be a only in person or also online exam on Monday 6.01 - let us know what your preferences are!
Sunday 19.01
10:00 p.m. Exam – ONLINE
During the exam each participant will show a few given steps and then describe one step (the participant will choose one step from the list of 3 moves given by Katarzyna) – how to teach it, what exercise to use, how to combine it with other steps.
We encourage you to join the exam as an observer - you can still learn a lot and support your friends!

🟣 CONDITIONS for participation and receipt of the certificate
The training is intended for dancers who regularly learn at workshops with The Siren Project fan dialect and who want to teach fan dialect in accordance with the artistic vision of Katarzyna Lidia and Agata Zakrzewska.
The Siren Project dialect is based on the FCBD® Style and uses classic and modern steps as well as dialect moves from vol. 9. An important part of this style are also the steps of Devi Mamak, which you can learn on the album: Devi’s inspired combinations DVD vol.1 and vol. 3. Knowledge of the above-mentioned steps and combinations is necessary to fully enjoy the dialect and to teach it.
After completion of the course (full-time attendance is obligatory in person and online) and passing the final examination, you will receive a course completion certificate. You can also apply for the status of International Representant of the Siren Project, use our logo and consult Katarzyna on artistic and educational matters. After completing the course, simply send us an email with a request to become a Representant.
The Representant is obliged to teach the dialect in accordance with the artistic vision of the Siren Project. You can develop the dialect, but a way that we can dance the whole dialect consistently and improvise efficiently. If you run workshops, especially online, please include The Siren Project in the title of the workshop.
The course is taught in English – a communicative level of language knowledge is essential.

🟣 Online and stationary
Workshops will be conducted both stationary and online (via Zoom transmission). Attendance at all classes is required and – in case of online participation – cameras must be turned on.
🟣 EXAM
You can take the exam in person or online:
- Monday 6.01 in person at 10:00 (or also online)
- Sunday 19.01 online at 10:00
Please indicate your date preferences in the form, you will be able to change your decision later, don’t worry!
Dancers who participated in the workshop in person can also observe this exam via Zoom.
Exam fee - 40 euro. This is valid for two tries – so you can try again if you won’t manage to pass the first time!
The exam fee needs to be paid until the day of the exam.

The course includes 14 hours of workshops – the total price is 420 euros .
After receiving the confirmation of the application, it will be possible to make an advance payment of EUR 50 (no refund), which is the guarantee of the reservation of the spot.
- First installment: October 30 – 185 EUR
- Second installment: November 30 – 185 EUR
or (after paying the advanced payment):
- First installment: October 15 – 140 EUR
- Second installment: November 15 – 140 EUR
- Third installment: December 15 – 90 EUR
You will receive payment details in the e-mail confirming the registration.
In a case of resignation, please contact us. A refund (but without the advance payment) will be possible, if a person from the reserve list uses your free spot.
