COMBO COLOCHA performs vintage jazz y canciones de amor. Vocalist, Evelyn Salguero, reinterprets classics of the Anglo and Latin American songbooks, with vocal harmonies and guitar accompaniment by Chris Reid. They are joined by a revolving cast of top-notch Bay Area musicians. It’s a repertoire of beloved classics and hidden gems from across the Americas including Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba, Peru and the USA. From dreamy love ballads in Spanish and English to upbeat Swing and Cumbia dance tunes, Combo Colocha endears itself to audiences of all backgrounds.
