The Silver Harvest program (Seniors Brown bag)

Silver Harvest (Brown Bag) has been a lifeline for the Stockton community, offering supplemental groceries to seniors aged 60 and over. Many participants live on tight budgets, often forcing them to cut back on essentials like healthy food. To promote better living, the program distributes 15–18 pounds of groceries twice a month—on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday—including six pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables. Seniors in the program say they now have better access to nutritious foods and feel more at ease about meeting their dietary needs. For details, contact Darrell Johnson at 209-915-1959.
