Quintessential American rock band The Silos celebrate their 40-year anniversary, joined by acclaimed Minneapolis musician & songwriter Jonathan Rundman! The Silos began in 1985 amidst New York City’s post-punk scene. “The band's austere style inflects the astringent twang of The Velvet Underground with the drone of R.E.M. and adds countryish echoes that recall Gram Parsons” (New York Times). Bandleader Walter Salas-Humara continues to guide the group as a wide-ranging musical collective which will tour the US and Europe in 2025. Jonathan Rundman, who has been a touring and recording member of The Silos for the past decade, opens the night in support of his new solo album, Waves. The Parkway is thrilled to bring these artists to their stage!
