The Shop at GLIDE Ribbon Cutting - Barbershop & Behavioral Health Program

We would be honored for you to join us at GLIDE for a ribbon cutting to celebrate The Shop - an innovative barbershop model that pairs free haircuts with access to behavioral health services.

The Shop was created in response to the disproportionate impact of drug overdoses on African American men in San Francisco. By blending a trusted, familiar community space with life-saving care, this model meets people where they are with dignity, trust, and culturally responsive support.

The ribbon cutting will be a true community celebration, complete with live music, refreshments, free haircuts, and tours of the barbershop. We are deeply grateful to the San Francisco Department of Public Health for their partnership and shared commitment to making The Shop possible.
