The Shifted Lounge- Elmira Fall 2026

A few people have asked me what actually happens at The Shifted Lounge.
So here’s the best way I can explain it.
Ten women sit down and take two hours out of their week and have dinner.
That’s the event.
There’s no presentation. No one is standing at the front of the room teaching you anything. And if you want to listen for a while before you jump into the conversation, you can.
We talk.
Sometimes it’s about the rules we’ve carried with us.
Be useful.
Don’t need too much from anybody.
Handle it yourself.
Sometimes it’s lighter.
“Wait, you do that too?”
“I thought I was the only one.”
“Oh my God, I didn’t know that. That’s so cool.”
That’s what I love about it.
You learn things about women you probably never would have known otherwise. Connections happen naturally. Somebody mentions something she needs and someone else at the table may know exactly who she should talk to.
None of it is scripted.
I also think part of why The Shifted Lounge is working is because I’ve stayed very true to what I wanted AmiraEvolved to feel like.
I’m not trying to mold it into something I saw somebody else doing.
It has to feel like me.
I want the room to be warm, interesting, and real.
I pay attention to what you leave with too.
Dinner is included. You leave with a book I picked specifically for that Lounge, and there are always other little things I’ve chosen with the experience in mind.
At the last one, one of the women told me the little notebook she received ended up being one of the most meaningful parts of the night.
They were handed out randomly, but somehow hers felt like it had been picked just for her.
I loved that.
When you see the ticket price, I want you to know the whole evening has been thought through.
And that’s also why I decided to keep the fall Lounge in Elmira.
I originally had Binghamton and Endicott dates planned too, but the response in Elmira was stronger, and several women who planned to come in Broome County were happy to make the drive.
I actually like what that creates.
Women from different places ending up at the same table and realizing they have more in common than they thought.
That is exactly the point.
And yes, October’s book is already picked.
I’m not telling you what it is yet. �
