The Shed: Monthly Youth Open Mic Event

Stax Music Academy returns this February with The Shed, our dynamic monthly open mic series created especially for young artists. This high-energy, supportive event offers students a welcoming stage to share their talents, connect with fellow creatives, and celebrate artistic expression in all its forms.

Whether you sing, rap, play an instrument, or perform spoken word, The Shed is a space where young voices are encouraged, and creativity shines.

• Sign-Up Begins: 5:30 PM
• Who Can Perform: Open exclusively to students in 5th–12th grade
• Guests: Parents and student chaperones are welcome
• Food & beverages will be provided
