Join us for collecting, drying and processing seed from a range of crops ready for storing and saving.- hands-on experience
- how to tell when seed is ripe
- choosing the best seed
- all stages of drying
- cleaning, threshing and winnowing on a human scale to get rid of the chaff
- safe storage for winter
Bring your questions and any seed you're not sure of. Seed swap after the work.
Free to Seed Library members and Perthshire Organic Gardeners members, but contributions of seed, cash and small glass jars are warmly welcomed to support the Seed Plot in 2026!
Non-members £5.
