Join us for a for an exploration of the mysterious social networks of trees. Learn about the root systems trees use to communicate and the ecosystem communities they create. Presented by Jeff Hodge and co-sponsored by the National Park Service. Adult program (ages 12+)Speaker Bio:
Ranger Jeff is the Lead Interpretive Ranger at San Juan Island National Historical Park on San Juan Island. Prior to coming to San Juan, Jeff served in Yosemite NP, Great Smoky Mountains NP, and Yellowstone NP. Jeff’s passion is the outdoors, and in particular our national parks where he spends much of his free time. He has three children who live in the East, and his partner Leslie who keeps him busy in winter months in California.
