The Secret Garden Pride Prom is a FREE event for queer young people and allies aged between 12-25, hosted by the Our Place Youth Committee. On the night you can expect a DJ spinning funky tunes, dancing, market stalls, entertainment, karaoke, photo booth, catering and more! A sensory space will be provided for those needing to chill and take some time out. All programs have been vetted by the City of Swan, headspace Midland and Youth Focus to ensure they are safe and youth appropriate.
The safety of young people attending this event is our top priority. This is a drug, alcohol and vape free event and anyone under the influence will also be asked to leave.
Unfortunately, we can’t welcome in parents and guardians to our events, as this does not comply with our youth safety practices and policies. Young people can attend with support workers who have valid working with children’s checks and organisation ID.
The event will be facilitated by staff at the City of Swan, headspace Midland and Youth Focus. Photographs and videos will be taken of the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform staff at the event.
