Info: Step into a world of swirling fabric, fluid transitions, and expressive storytelling through veil work. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to use the veil as both an extension of the body and a dynamic partner in motion. Through guided technique, we’ll refine pathways, entrances, directional changes, and sustained momentum that allow the veil to feel weightless and alive. You’ll learn how to generate power without tension, glide through turns, and create seamless wraps, releases, and dramatic reveals.
As we move, we’ll experiment with musical interpretation, texture, and the emotional tone the veil can bring to your dance. The workshop will culminate in a short phrase that integrates the techniques and concepts explored, offering dancers practical tools for dancing with grace, confidence, and expressive depth.

Info: This workshop blends the artistry of shape-making with the physical intensity of nonstop drilling. We’ll move to a high-energy playlist, working hard and feeling energized as we drill isolations to build strength, precision, and endurance. From there, we’ll push those drills further by transforming them into dynamic phrases that explore symmetry, asymmetry, timing, and flow. Expect to sweat, move continuously, and challenge both your body and creativity. The class will culminate in a short choreography that integrates the drills and concepts explored, followed by a juicy stretch to restore balance after the work.

Info: Infinity Fusion is Lynette’s signature vocabulary, inspired by contemporary and belly dance concepts. As an occupational therapist, Lynette utilizes her knowledge of neuroanatomy to create pathways that engage both sides of the body and the brain. The movements in her dance workshop will involve layering isolation patterns, arm movements, travel pathways, and shifts in focus. All motifs are practiced bilaterally to promote balance between the body and mind. Her teachers—Rachel Brice, Kami Liddle, Jillina Carlano, and Karli Joe Valentine—have significantly influenced her creative process.

Info: Are you new to the choreographic process or feeling stuck while creating choreography? In this fun, lecture style workshop you can learn the inside secrets on developing cohesive choreographies and dances from world renown dancer Kami Liddle. In this workshop you will do a deep dive into your own dance style and learn how to construct a performance piece, how to build a theme and feeling, song mapping and musicality, what to do when lacking inspiration, how to find music for an epic performance, creating movement pathways and how to arrange movement and make it your own. Chartcuterie will be provided, you may bring your own snacks and drinks to share as well!

Info: Honeyed Flow invites you into a world of rich texture, liquid transitions, and embodied expression. This workshop explores fluid spinal articulation, continuous arm pathways, and subtle micro-movements that contrast with expansive, sweeping shapes. We’ll build a movement vocabulary inspired by the slow, steady pour of honey—smooth, intentional, and deeply connected. Throughout class, you’ll experiment with marrying internal sensation to external form, discovering how to infuse strength and softness into every phrase. The workshop will culminate in a short combination designed to highlight your honeyed grace and offer practical tools for bringing more richness, fluidity, and expressive depth into your dancing.

Learn fun concepts to create dances!
Have you tried to collaborate with your friend on a dance, and it seemed like it took a long time because you both were using different creation processes, or you didn’t really have an established way to create collaboratively?
In this workshop, you will learn methods to create motifs collaboratively. When you and your collaborators use the same methods to create, the process is smoother and quicker.
You can use these dance methods to create solo or group vocabulary. These are Datura Style tools that I have learned throughout my training in the 8 elements of dance. These workshops will open doors to methods for creating dances either alone or collaboratively. We will dive into how to create motifs while using scales and stacking methods with other dancers.
