The Second Mondays Open Mic by Gold Beams x Black Joy Parade x Red Bull

Second Mondays is a multi-disciplinary open mic for Black people to share and enjoy incredible art. The stage welcomes comedy, poetry, singing, rapping, instrumentalists, and more!

It's what we at Gold Beams have been doing for three years.

And... it's fun AF!

All ages welcomed ??????‍??‍♂️??‍???‍???‍???‍???‍???‍?

The Second Mondays open mic is open to Black creatives of various disciplines.

• O ur stage is home to Black creatives.
• That includes comedians, musicians, poets, actors performing monologues, dance, etc.
• W e will alternate between sign up and (free) raffle ticket holders when calling artists to perform.
• The open mic list opens with the doors at 6 pm
• Artists have 5 minutes to perform on stage.
• Artist must only perform one piece.
• If you have instrumentals, be ready to airdrop them.
• Be prepared to perform acapella if there are issues sending your instrumentals.
• Your art must be respectful to the people in the space. To our community.
• Besides our two recent slot winners, if you have placed at a Second Mondays event in the past, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO perform.

• To enjoy incredible art ?!
• Make new friends ?.
• To have a good ass time ?.

We'll be taking pictures for Gold Beams and The Black Joy Parade to use. Your entry and ticket purchases will confirm your consent.
