The Season of Stillness: A Samhain Yin
Wednesday, October 29 • 6:30 PM
Plains Indians & Pioneers Museum
As the days grow shorter and the light begins to give way to darkness, we enter a natural turning of the season.
Join me for a special Samhain-inspired Yin practice centered around the transition from light to dark, activity to rest, and holding on to releasing.
This slow, grounding Yin-style practice is an invitation to become still, turn inward, and listen to what your body needs as we move into the darker half of the year.
After practice, we’ll gather together for a little seasonal celebration with sangria, meat & cheese, crackers, prizes, and a drawing.
A few important details:
🍂 Arrive by 6:15 PM to get settled.
🍂 Practice begins promptly at 6:30 PM.
🍂 21+ only.
🍂 $15 per person (must be prepaid at the time of reservation)
🍂 Only 16 spots are available. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
🍂 Bring a small throw and a small pillow. Blocks will be provided. If you have your own bolster, you are welcome to bring it.
🍂 Please be respectful of everyone’s practice by silencing phones and watches before we begin. Notifications, buzzing, and alarms can easily interrupt someone’s quiet space.
Come as you are.
Slow down.
Let the season turn.
And give yourself permission to rest.
Only 16 spaces available — once they’re filled, registration is closed.
