About this Event
Journey with us from the Beecroft Art Gallery into the darkest corners of the cosmos, as part of our free, four part lecture series 'The Science of Space'.
The fourth and final lecture in our 'Science of Space' series is “Not Even Wrong”: The Strangest Ideas in Theoretical Physics. In this lecture we will touch on some of the most speculative ideas in theoretical physics; including: String Theory, Dark Energy, Extra Dimensions, and the Multiverse.Leave your hard hats and lab coats at the door… this week, the theorists are taking centre stage!
This talk is accessible for ages 10+. Older children and adults will enjoy this talk, children younger than 10 are welcome, but some may struggle with understanding the content.
