The Science of Firefighting

Join us for an exciting new workshop series in partnership with Spindale Fire & Rescue! Each workshop focuses on a different area of the nature of fire, fire safety, firefighting, and more while highlighting the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) skills used by firefighters every day. Each session focuses on a new topic with its own hands-on activities and firefighter led demonstrations.
This session is geared for children aged 6-12 and explores hydraulics systems and firehoses, plus a hands-on activity! Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot and view the full schedule at kidsenses.org/scienceoffire!
