The Science of Club Music
About this Event
Grounded in Reezey’s “CLUB · AFRO · SOUL” ethos, this session explores how modern dance music carries echoes of ancient practices of song, cypher, ceremony, and communal release.
During this experience, participants will:
- Explore the relationship between rhythm, movement, and human connection
- Experience club music through both contemporary and ancestral perspectives
- Move, dance, and reconnect with the body in an open dance cypher
- Connect with local resources & small businesses rooted in creativity & wellness
Comfortable clothing is strongly encouraged. This workshop is an invitation to remember that music has always been medicine and movement has always been knowledge.
No prior experience necessary. Come as you are!
