All are invited to a Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, multimedia presentation in the Lyceum Auditorium, 313 Duke Street, starting at 7 p.m., on the subject of "The Science and Significance of Eucharistic Miracles."
This presentation by Steve Hemler and Lee Granger of the Catholic Apologetics Institute of North America (CAINA) highlights the importance of the Holy Eucharist and provides an overview of the amazing findings of scientific studies of several Eucharistic miracles.
The consistent teaching of the Catholic Church is that the Eucharist is truly the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ under the appearance of bread and wine. But most people, even many Catholics, doubt this teaching. In order to manifest Christ’s Real Presence and dispel doubts, God sometimes provides us with Eucharistic miracles, which include consecrated hosts being transformed into real human flesh and blood. This presentation will strengthen faith in the Real Presence and equip attendees with new information for sharing with family and friends about the importance of regularly attending Mass.
All are invited to this free event, which is being sponsored by the Basilica's Institute for Faith and Public Culture.
