The School of Each Other believes the most important knowledge in any room didn't come from a classroom. We exist to honor that with full ceremony and complete sincerity.

Hosted by Rose Lewis and Peery Sloan, each session of The School of Each Other brings the community together to learn from someone whose wisdom, craft, and life experience deserve a proper ceremony. There will be pomp. There will be circumstance. All for the sake of play, not hierarchy.

For our founding session, we are honored to welcome Josephine LaCosta, chef, culinary artist, community builder, and author of Tangerine on the Sill. Jo runs Elbow's Catering, a culinary project rooted in the belief that growing and cooking are never truly separate, and that the table is the simplest, most powerful way to bring people together. She has spent years tending Portland's food community with generosity, creativity, and deep care for the land and the people around her.

Come ready to eat, listen, ask questions, and learn. There will be snacks, good conversation, and plenty of room for curiosity.
