Think the raw action of Die Hard colliding with the street energy of Beat Street. No script. No safety net. Just a high-octane, beat-driven ride where anything will happen – and every line hits to the maxx.

Bad Dog Comedy Theatre and Sex T-Rex are honoured to announce the return of Blockbuster Week from May 11-16, 2026 at Videocabaret, a community gathering for some of Toronto’s most talented artists, Blockbuster Week is a beloved festival of brand new improvised comedies celebrating movies and television in a live, unscripted setting.
Blockbuster Week culminates on May 16 in a celebratory awards night called The Sexies, which sees Sex T-Rex awarding satirical yet heartfelt awards to all the artists in the festival.
