Dearest Darlings of the Dark,
Word has reached this spirit that on Friday, October 9th, Knoxville’s most beguiling guests shall descend upon Sassy Ann’s, where haunted souls will convene behind masks as the grand old house, dressed in her finest, opens her doors for an evening of masked merriment.
Her Majesty herself shall preside over the evening, having taken a most particular interest in the soirée, and graciously opened the doors of her favorite haunted house for the night’s affairs. This spirit has heard the faintest whispers that Her Majesty is keeping a most watchful eye for this haunted season's Black Rose. This time, our rose blooms after dark.
The festivities shall commence with a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres and live jazz, offering ample opportunity to sip, mingle, and make a most memorable first impression. As darkness settles in, the music shall grow livelier, the cocktails shall continue to flow, and our DJs will keep the dancing going well into the night.
A distinguished selection of the Queen’s favored spooky vendors shall be in attendance, presenting their finest wares and most curious treasures for the delight and discovery of her honored guests. Enjoy pursuing the collections and oddities during the cocktail hours.
A masquerade ball mask is required for entry. After all, when the veil between worlds grows thin, one would be wise to keep one’s identity concealed.
Dress accordingly, my darling haunted souls. The night favors the wickedly well-dressed. And should you encounter a restless spirit, a suspicious possession, or a ghost behaving most improperly, one trusts you shall report it directly to this spirit, Lady Nightingale.
