“Sandwich Generation” Support GroupThis is a 12 week support group that meets weekly for 1.5 hours. This group is specifically designed for individuals or couples who fall within the “middle-age” category. This age group tends to face specific and multiple issue that will be discussed throughout the sessions. Discussion areas and workshops will cover: Managing work, hobbies, relationships and time for self; finding time to be a spouse, parent, grandparent and child simultaneously; health issues; financial strain; anxiety, depression and feelings of resentment; retirement; outside support (nursing home, in-home care); other important topics will be introduced and discussed as group members choose.
Fee for each session is $20.00 per person or $30.00 per couple.
