Over the last few years, it feels like we’ve only come together when we’re saying goodbye to someone we love. Life gets busy. The kids we grew up with are now adults with kids of their own. Time keeps moving.When Grandma passed, there were already over 120 grandkids. Today, between grandkids and their children, we are over 300 strong. That’s not just a number — that’s a legacy.
With Candida facing some health challenges, it reminded us of something important: we can’t keep waiting for hard moments to bring the family together.
This gathering is about honoring Avelino & Coralia Sanchez.
It’s about keeping Grandma’s spirit alive.
It’s about the cousins knowing each other.
The elders telling stories.
The kids running around while the domino table gets loud.
The music playing. The food flowing. The laughter carrying down the block.

We celebrate together. We grow together.
