The Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans is holding our annual Gala fundraiser at The Glazer Club in Yulman Stadium on September 10, 2025 6:00pm-8:30pm. Our special guest for the event, Tyrann Mathieu will be our Salvation Army "Doing the Most Good" honoree at this year's Shield of Hope Gala. A New Orleans native and recently retired NFL player, "The Honey Badger", has an incredible success story of football, family and faith.
Our entertainment will be provided by Deacon John and the Ivories which is sure to be spectacular. We have such an incredible evening of great food, entertainment and fun planned for you including a Silent Auction of Sports Memorabilia featuring football across Louisiana.
We will be highlighting ways The Salvation Army of New Orleans is changing lives and investing in our community through our Non-Medical Respite and Next Chapter programs. Many of these individuals turn to us at The Salvation Army to help provide shelter, food, social services and other urgent aid. We cannot do this alone and need your help to help build bridges out of poverty for people in New Orleans.
