The Sacred Place at Matriarch Park Ribbon Cutting

Join Parity and our incredible partners as we celebrate the grand opening of The Sacred Place at Matriarch Park on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Together with Parks & People Foundation, EnviroCollab, and Nature Sacred, we have transformed a once-vacant lot into a vibrant community green space where Harlem Park residents, families, and neighbors can gather, reflect, and connect.

The celebration will feature a ceremonial ribbon cutting, tree planting, and the unveiling of The Sacred Place—a contemplative garden designed by Nature Sacred as a space for healing, reflection, and community. This milestone represents the power of partnership and a shared commitment to creating healthier, greener, and more connected neighborhoods for Baltimore residents.
