Join our new choir and connect with the joy of singing together.
Each week, we'll learn beautiful and powerful songs from around the world, explore vocal improvisation and circle singing, and develop our voices in a playful and creative environment. Throughout the season, we'll build a repertoire of songs that moves us, create original musical moments, and share our songs with the Rört community in a concert this December.
The choir is open to singers of all ages, genders, and musical backgrounds. You don't need to read music; we learn by listening and singing together. All we ask is that you enjoy using your voice and are excited to explore it with others.
ABOUT THE CHOIR LEADER
Lasse is a musician, educator, and choir leader passionate about bringing people together through music. Inspired by the Brazilian practice Música do Círculo, he creates spaces where improvisation, presence, and collective creativity can flourish. With warmth, curiosity, and a playful approach, he helps singers discover their musical voice while experiencing the unique connection that emerges when people sing together

TIME & DATES:
Thursdays 18:45 – 21:00
- First rehearsal: Sept 10th
- Last rehearsal: Dec 3rd
- Concert: Wednesday Dec 9th
- Fall break – no choir practice: Oct 15th
We expect that if you sign up for the choir, you will also join most of the rehearsal sessions. You are allowed to skip up to maximum 2 sessions in the season, that way we make sure everybody can learn the songs and keep the continuity of the choir and community going. Please consider whether this is possible for you before you sign up.

Subscription in the choir (limited spots)
975 DKK for non-members
795 DKK for Rört-members
This includes all rehearsals + the concert. It is not possible to sign up for individual sessions/rehearsals.
CANCELLATION POLICY: When you sign up - you can cancel up to 14 days before and still get a refund (minus a 5 % cancellation fee). It is not possible to cancel less than 10 days before Feb 18th - though you can sell your ticket to someone else
