The Rum Stories Masterclasses at The Raven - Friday 31st May

Step into the world of The Raven, and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of rum, with our Rum Stories Masterclasses.

Join our Manager David, as he tells the story of rum and how it's made, from cane to bottle, while tasting some fantastic liquids. We will touch bases with topics such as fermentation, distillation, maturing and blending. During the session, we will taste rum from a range of world regions, and each will highlight key points in the story, allowing you to follow the story as you taste. By the end of the session, you will have a new found understanding of this fascinating spirit, told through the medium of delicious tastings and knowledge.

Whether you’re taking your first steps into this world, or you’re fostering a passion for this historic spirit, we’ve got a choice of two masterclasses to choose from:

✨ Rum Rookie - 6pm - 8:30pm

✨ Rum Master - 9pm - 10:30pm

Tickets begin at £45 for the Rum Rookie entry level session, including six rums, snacks and an educational tasting, and £70 for our Rum Master session, which includes more rums and a more in-depth dive into the spirits you’ll be tasting.
