About this Event

One day seminar for 18+

The undisputable reality of death knocks on our doors every day but we do not

realise it. The wisest is he who prepares for his departure from the temporary

dwellings of this world to the eternal life of the Hereafter. Not only is it important to

prepare for this journey spiritually by living a life of obedience to Allah, Most High,

but it is essential for us to prepare by organising our financial affairs.

The consequences of not doing this is evident in society where we see families

splitting and disputing over inheritance. This could be avoided. This happens

because we have failed to observe a key instruction from our Prophet (peace be

upon him). It is recorded in the Sahih al-Bukhari that our Holy Prophet Muhammad

(peace be upon him) said: "It is the duty of a Muslim who has something which is to be given

as a bequest not to have it for two nights without having his will written down regarding it."

This is the level of importance of this issue. You can stop your family from disputing if

you take the right measures by sorting out your financial affairs while you can.

To this end we have organised a workshop to help you understand the Islamic rules

regarding inheritance and wills.

There are two components to this workshop. The first will be delivered by a qualified

Islamic law fiirm, IWills Solicitors, who will briefly discuss the rules of inheritance and explain

the rules of wills in depth. The second part will be delivered by a legal professional who is a

specialist in setting up wills. This will give you the opportunity to understand the legal

consequences of not having a will, what you need to do to set up a will, and the

opportunity to sign up on the day to get you started on the process.

This is an in person event.
