Our comedy club is back with a BANG November as we continue to bring you the best of the best from the UK comedy circuit in the very intimate setting of The Royal Pug.

This month’s comedy crackers are Adam Beardsmore, Kate Martin and Tom Little!

Adam Beardsmore

A class comedy act from Staffordshire who had performed all over thecountry in some of its best clubs and dingiest pubs givinga disgruntled view of his life and answering the questions no one asked.Through one of the most egotistical art forms, Adam will tell you about the world through hiseyes, why we are all the centre of our own universes, the best ways to look out for number one and how being self-centred doesn’t necessarily mean you are your own biggest fan.

Kate Martin
'Brilliantly funny & energetic’ (Angela Barnes) and her ‘confident delivery andslick material’ (Chortle) have quickly established her as one of the most exciting new acts onthe circuit. At 6ft 1 and with the longest wings pan in comedy (*probably), Kate’s a naturally engaging, energetic performer with effortlessly tight gags to match. Her unique background in mental health has given her a fresh take on the world, a completely distinctive voice, and fuels her high energy story telling, whip-smart punchlines and razor-sharp observations of life's quirks through queer eyes.

Tom Little

An award-winning comedian. In 2015 he won the Leicester Mercury Comedianof the Year (an award also won by acts such as Johnny Vegas, Jason Manford, Rhod Gilbertand Romesh Ranganathan) which he never stops banging on about. He was also a BBCRadio New Comedy Award finalist and his 2018 Edinburgh show was nominated for theAmused Moose Comedy Award.

He plays the well-read fool, taking on hugely diverse facts, but refusing to deal with themconventionally, with a unique turn of phrase.
