The Roundtable Conversation: Small-Group Networking for Experts
About this Event
The Roundtable Conversation is a facilitated small-group networking event where experts connect through deeper conversations about business and professional growth.
Topic for This Session:
Content That Builds Authority, Not Just Noise
As independent experts, we know content matters.
It helps people discover us, understand our expertise and remember what we stand for.
But content quickly becomes a chore.
We are already running the business, serving clients and doing the actual work. Then we are told to plan, batch and keep posting.
The usual content-calendar approach does not help. It creates pressure to fill slots, repeat ideas and publish before the thinking is ready.
So the question becomes:
How do we create content that strengthens our authority without turning content into another job?
Questions We Will Explore
- Why does content become a chore for independent experts?
- Why do conventional content calendars often lead to filler and repetition?
- What makes content actually strengthen how people perceive our expertise?
- How can our real work, observations and thinking become a more natural source of content?
You can also bring your own challenges, frustrations and approaches to content.
We will explore what gets in the way, question some of the standard advice around content creation, and discuss how content can work more naturally with your expertise and business.
Session Format
This is a facilitated small-group conversation for subject matter experts who want to examine the beliefs shaping their professional presence.
You are welcome to bring your own experiences, questions and challenges to the table.
There will be no presentation or fixed formula. You will think through the issue with other experts, hear perspectives you may not have considered and leave with a clearer view of the story you want to carry forward.
Seats are limited to 9 people so everyone has time to speak, think and connect meaningfully.
What past participants said:
“The session was insightful and powerful. The way Dean shared his approach to personal branding was very different from what I’ve seen elsewhere, and I’ve met quite a few personal branding ‘experts’.
Most only cover the surface, but Dean went much deeper. It really made me reflect on what I’m doing now, where I currently stand, and what I need to do differently with my personal brand.
I’d highly recommend joining the next session.”
Val S., Human Design Coach
“It was a very insightful conversation. Dean made us think about things we had never considered before.
It gave me a lot of space to reflect on how I present myself and how I position myself.”
Joey T. SRT Practitioner
“I came in with no expectations and left feeling refreshed.
Most of my networking happens within the same industry. Here, I got to hear stories and perspectives from people with very different experiences.
