The Rope Collective's Rope Jam & Movie Night - K*ll Bill vol I & II

E VENT DETAILS:

Vibe out with us in a space of rope practice + play, social connection and movie! Rope Jam is a gathering for rope lovers and the curious to sink in, explore, and play. This jam is an open flow space and all levels are welcome. This event is also a fundraiser to help save our beloved studio! bring your friends!

We will be showing a DOUBLE FEATURE of 2003 & 2004 : K*ll BILL VOL I & II, two films by Quentin Tarantino. Vol I starts at 5:30pm (ending around 7:30pm) and Vol II starts at 8pm so if you arrive late you MUST enter through the alley door (alley off S 16th between Logan and National), if you use the parking lot- exit through the front door and walk around the corner to alley door entrance.

We will also have autographs and polaroids with Beatrix Kiddo!!! (cosplayed by Madame V) for extra fundraising fun ! Get your butt signed xoxo

There is no pressure, expectations, or requirements with how much you want to engage. There is however a requirement that you fully understand and practice INFORMED CONSENT. We will go over informed consent, negotiation, risk awareness, aftercare and vetting for those who are unfamiliar.

R ECOMMENDED ITEMS TO BRING:

Wear clothing that allows you to feel comfortable, empowered or expressive. This is not a play party and all guests will be encouraged to come in clothing that comfortable and/or expressive in ways that feel good to them but required to keep under garments on and pelvic area covered. We suggest something that you might wear to move freely without feeling restricted. Separate top and bottom that allows you to expose legs, arms, and belly may feel good for the interactive portions of this workshop but is optional.

Please bring anything else that allows you to feel comfortable and we ask that you limit usage of strong perfumes/aromas to support a variety of sensory needs. Here's a list of items we use throughout most of our events, classes + workshops that will support your experience.

• mat/blanket

• jacket/sweater + layers for varying comfort needs and temperatures

• 1-2 hanks of rope + safety shears/cutting instrument

• notepad /pen

• water + snacks

*We have mats, blankets, pillows, safety sheers, snacks + NA beverages, and clean rope to borrow and for sale.
