The Roots of Hamsah is an intimate evening of Hebrew songs and storytelling with Naor Nave. Blending Israeli folk, Jewish soul, and Mediterranean groove, this solo performance invites the community into a night of music that is both rooted and alive. Songs will be performed in Hebrew, with stories shared in English so everyone can connect — whether they speak the language or not.
Throughout the evening, Naor will build the sound live, layering guitar, ukulele, bass, and kick through looping, with darbuka adding a warm Mediterranean pulse.
This concert marks the beginning of Hamsah, a new Mediterranean groove project on Maui — a chance to sit close to the music before the full band comes to life.
