Buzz Buzz Media Inc. Ticket Sales Policy

1. Cancellation Policy

Any and all payments made to Buzz Buzz Media Inc. (“Buzz”) are non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to illness of participants, unforeseen events or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Buzz, the attendee or any other party, changes or modifications to the schedule, presenters, or events related to a conference, acts of God, travel-related problems, acts of terrorism, loss of employment and/or duplicate purchases.

You may cancel your registration by notifying us in writing at [email protected]. If your cancellation notice is received more than 4 weeks before the ticketed conference, you may transfer your registration to the next Buzz event at no cost. If your notice is received less than 4 weeks but more than one week before the conference, you may transfer your registration to the next event for a $50+HST administrative fee. If notice is received 1 week or less before the conference, your registration fee is forfeited to Buzz as liquidated damages.

1. Transfer Policy

You may transfer your conference registration to another individual for the same event by notifying us in writing at [email protected]. All substitution requests will be processed within two business days. Attendee substitutions received on the day of the event or after the start of the event will be processed for a $50 fee+HST.

1. Force Majeure

If an event beyond Buzz's reasonable control occurs that in its sole discretion would make conducting the conference impracticable, illegal, or impossible (including but not limited to an act of God, war, strike, terrorist attack, extreme weather, curtailment of transportation, epidemic, or pandemic), Buzz may cancel the event. The sole remedy for such cancellation shall be the offer of a credit for a future conference equal to the paid registration fee.

Buzz is committed to creating a safe and inclusive experience for all attendees, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion. Harassment in any form will not be tolerated. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience. Be kind and do not insult or put down other attendees, brokerages or brands. There is zero tolerance for all and any anti-competitive statements on the stage. Act professionally. Harassment, sexist, racist or exclusionary behavior is not appropriate at any time. Anyone violating these rules may be asked to leave the conference without a refund at the sole discretion of Buzz leadership team and staff. If you experience or witness harassment, or have any concerns, please contact a staff member immediately.

By entering and by your presence at The BUZZ Conference, you consent to being photographed, filmed and/or recorded. Your entry constitutes your consent to such photography, filming and/or recording and to any use, in any and all media throughout the universe in perpetuity whatsoever in connection with The BUZZ Conference Events. You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent given by you by entering the conference venue at The Mississauga Convention Centre or any Off-Site Pre-Networking Events. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not be in spaces where photography or videography is being conducted.
