The Rollin' Rust at the Mauch Chunk Opera House

🎶 JIM THORPE, PA — THE ROLLIN’ RUST MAKES THEIR MAUCH CHUNK OPERA HOUSE DEBUT!
Friday, February 12, 2027 | Mauch Chunk Opera House - Doors 7pm | Showtime 8pm
From festival main stages to one of the most historic music venues in Pennsylvania, Central New York’s rising Americana/Folk-Rock band The Rollin’ Rust is bringing its high-energy live show to Jim Thorpe for the very first time!
Blending the storytelling of classic folk, bluegrass and country with the electricity of rock & roll, blues, and indie rock, The Rollin’ Rust has spent the last five years building a heavy reputation for infectious live performances, exceptional musicianship, and the kind of chemistry you can only get from thousands of miles on the road together.
And man, those miles have added up.
🚐 25+ states toured. Two full-length albums. Major festival stages all over the east coast..
The band has appeared on festival lineups alongside Jack White, CAAMP, Lord Huron, Alabama Shakes, The Head and The Heart, The Wood Brothers, Pixies, The Black Crowes, Marcus King, and Sierra Hull, among many others.
After winning the Battle of the Borderland competition against more than 70 bands, The Rollin’ Rust earned a spot on the Borderland Music Festival’s main stage, returning to that same stage in 2026 as a featured festival performer. Their debut album, Road Rats, earned a nomination for Best Americana Album at the Syracuse Area Music Awards, and their sophomore album, Southern Sun, continues to introduce their unmistakable sound to audiences across the country.
Now, they’re bringing it all to the legendary Mauch Chunk Opera House.
Built in 1881, this beautiful, intimate theater has welcomed generations of performers. On February 12th, The Rollin’ Rust will take its stage for the very first time — and they’re coming ready to make an impression.
If you love discovering great live music before everyone else catches on, this is your kind of show.
Come for the songs. Stay for the musicianship, the stories, and a band that knows how to turn a room full of strangers into a room full of friends.
