The Roger Berney Memorial Trophy
Roger was a great man and loved his darts and was one of the people behind the creation of the King’s Lynn United super league side. The big man made time for anybody and everybody and always spurred people on to be the best they could.
It feels only right that we come together to hold a competition in memory of the great man, who still to this day is missed by us all.
Entries at the moment capped at 48 players if we have enough interest we would like to run a separate ladies competition.
£15 entry fee to be made to Lauren Palmer, Payments can be made via PayPal, Cash or Bank transfer. This we be a prepaid competition as this is very popular.
We are also looking for match board sponsors at £25 each. If there is good support we can accept more sponsors.
There will be a raffle, wouldn’t be a Roger tournament without one, and some football cards sent round throughout the day. All money raised from these will be donated to a charity of Roger’s family choice.
