Rod Alnord Quartet presents an exciting and upbeat-style of Swing, with a mix of Latin and Contemporary music. The band features Alnord on drums with Ross Strausser-sax, Eric Zabala-vibes, Ruben Davila-bass and guest vocalist, Nicole Hoffer. Alnord is a Haitian born drummer with multiple musical influences including Jazz, Gospel, World and Afro-Caribbean Music. He studied at the University of South Florida under Ric Craig and Bob McCormick and has since developed his own style of playing, inspired by the explosive Elvin Jones and modern drummer extraordinaire, Brian Blade.
Doors open at 6:30 for dinner and drinks. Peformance starts at 7:30.
