The Road to Truth - An evening of film, story, and reflection

Join us on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation for an evening of storytelling, reflection, and community connection. Together, we will experience “The Road” — a powerful, award winning film created by the Stardale Women’s Group — followed by an opportunity to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue.

Location: Grace Presbyterian Church Sanctuary (Entrance will be at the south doors off the parking lot.)

Audience: Open to the congregation and the broader community

Program Outline:

1. Welcome and opening remarks
2. Screening of “The Road”
3. Moderated Q & A based on questions submitted by attendees
4. Closing and Acknowledgements
5. Community meal and fellowship ( reception)
6. Focused on listening, learning and respectful engagement
7. Personal stories shared
8. Shared experiences by Stardale members including Executive Director Helen McPhaden, Elder Wanda First Rider, Playwright Eugene Stickland and the young women of Stardale.
